Far from being a production line, the art of our taxidermy is individualized according to each of our client’s requirements. Perhaps the single most unconsidered feature of the art of taxidermy is its three dimensional aspect.  Like humans, animals vary in size and shape.  Our trophies are sculpted according to the size of the skin, be it a simple shoulder mount or a life size trophy.  It is this hand crafted attention to detail that differentiates our art.  Much like it takes 3 years to hand make a beautiful set of double rifles, craftsmanship is a time consuming process.  And time is an investment Trans African is not prepared to compromise.

We can complete your order in 9 months from date of confirmation, with an additional 1 month for shipping delivery.  We will manage the entire process for you; from collecting your trophies from your Outfitter to processing export documentation and guiding you when applying for CITES import permits.

We also import trophies from all over Africa and the world.  Please feel free to contact us to discuss the process with you before you go on safari so we can give you indications of costs, timing and inform you on processes and procedures to ensure smooth shipping, importing and re-exporting.

And for those who prefer a taxidermy studio closer to home we will gladly ship your raw trophies to your destination of choice.
